Registration is now being taken by mail and in person at the South Milwaukee Recreation Dept. Office for its Youth Ballet & Tap, Tumbling, and Jazz,. Classes are held on Saturdays at the Middle School MPR beginning September 13th.
You can now register on-line and see all of the classes offered by- visiting our website at (www.smrec-fitness.org) These classes provide youngsters with an excellent opportunity to develop body coordination, as well as being exposed to the art of dancing. Class sizes are limited and fill quickly, so please sign up early to insure a place in the class for your child. This program is climaxed at the end with a Recital. Late registration will not be taken after November 1, 2008. Registration is now being accepted by mail (include name, address, age where applicable, telephone, class choice, e-mail address and proper fee) or in person on a first-come, first-served basis at the South Milwaukee Recreation Department, Room #1100, 901 15 Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI 53172. Walk-in registration is possible, Monday - Friday, 8:00 -12:00 noon and 1:00-4:00 P.M. We are located on the east side of the new Senior High School. You may park your car in the east lot and enter the building through door #24. The Recreation Office is located just inside of door #24 and the building is labeled COMMUNITY RECREATION & FITNESS CENTER. Parents are encouraged to sign-up NOW as classes fill quickly. The fee for each class is $56 for residents and $84 for non-residents. For additional information, call 766-5081.
