Attend the School Board Meeting Wednesday, 01/23/08

By Janet Evans
Tuesday, Jan 22 2008, 10:45 AM

That’s right, come and join in!

Show the School Board you are concerned about what they are doing.

Take advantage of THE 15 MINUTES we, as citizens of Franklin, are allowed to speak out in public and make a comment in front of this School Board.

It’s your only chance…they obviously won’t give us any other forum to ask questions about their past deeds regarding the referendum.

They won’t face us.

They just want to “Move on.”

Here is the agenda:

My Prediction:

This should be a well attended meeting up until the Student Artists have been recognized and then there will be just you, Apollo and John Neville left. Mary Karolewicz and Deb Larson will be scowling at you the whole night, Jeff Traylor will be wearing a tie tonight due to your last blog about his attire.

Please Franklin - Prove me wrong!

Oh, Wise One (Bryan)...

I hope your prediction is wrong (about the attendance after the Student Artists, anyway...)

Come on, residents of Franklin...prove the Soothsayer Bryan wrong...

Well, Bryan...

There were a few people at the meeting.  They were taking notes, so I think they might have been with the District.  Not sure.  And the School Board Candidates were there too, plus me, Scott T., Apollo, (no Neville)..and one other gentleman who is at other meetings, but I don't know who he is.

Let's see...Tralor DID NOT wear a tie...let's just say, he did not dress professionally either (jeans).  Can you believe it.  It amazes me how elected officials can dress this way.  Dr. Patz and Jim Milzner dress in suits.  Do these men not own a tie and dress shirt?  But at least ANY pants besides jeans.

Larson was strangly absent.....I had a comment but I will wait until next month, since it involves her.  Wouldn't want her to feel left out.
