Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration

La Casa’s Hispanic Heritage Month event celebrates the anniversary of independence for seven Latin American countries—Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico and Chile—and the achievements of a people that have contributed so much to American culture. This celebration showcases the ingenuity, creativity, cultural and political experiences of Hispanic Americans and helps foster the general  public’s awareness and appreciation for the Latino culture.
