Cinco
de Mayo celebrates the victory of the Mexicans over the French in the Battle of
Puebla in 1862. It is primarily a regional holiday celebrated in the Mexican
city of Puebla and throughout the state of Puebla. However, it is
also celebrated in other parts of the country and in U.S. cities with a significant
Mexican population. Corporate table purchases are available as well as
individual ticket purchases. The event takes place in La Casa’s Col. Agustin A.
and Gloria A. Ramirez Multipurpose Room. La Casa has a variety of sponsorship
packages available from presenting sponsor to donations of raffle items. La Casa

Chimneys Estate Tours
Ten
Chimneys offers guests a virtually barrier-free tour of an estate replete with
original furnishings and overflowing with the romance of the Golden Age of
Theatre. Guests are placed in small
groups and are led through the estate by highly-trained docents who share stories that interpret
not only the objects and décor of the estate, but also the lives and values of
its remarkable creators, Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. Ten Chimneys Estate-- 10:00am-

Reading: Arms and the Man

partnership with The Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s Intern Company, Ten Chimneys
Foundation presents Play Readings at Ten Chimneys. In the tradition of the bygone "golden
age of radio," this engaging series allows audiences to see and hear the
next generation of professional actors recreate the plays related to the
"golden couple of Broadway." Written by George Bernard Shaw, Arms and
