The Bay View Neighborhood Association in partnership with the Milwaukee County Parks welcome Canadian brass-style music to Chill on the Hill this week with the esprit d'Brass quintet! Consiting of two trumpeters, a trombonist, French horn player and a tubist, esprit d'Brass plays everything from Patriotic to Broadway to Dixie. Don't be late: you won't want to miss the Fritsche Marching Band as they start off the evening at 6:00pm. But that's not all - the Humboldt Park Watch will be having their annual corn roast at Chill on the Hill as well!
Chill on the Hill happens every Tuesday night this summer at the Humboldt Park bandshell. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair or just spread out on the grass and enjoy free music in the park. The Milwaukee County Parks concessions truck will be on hand to sell brats and cold Miller Chill.
Chill on the Hill has lots of great acts yet to come! Here's what's coming up:
August 5 The Chickadees; The Figureheads – Kids and Family Night
sponsored by Dover Street School
August 12 Reilly - Irish Folk and Rock
August 19 The Urbanites - Reggae
August 26 Swing Nouveau - Big Band/Swing
