The
Bay View Neighborhood Association in partnership with the
Milwaukee County Parks welcome the WAMI award-winning Danny Miller Band to this week's Chill on the Hill event. Danny Miller has played with some of Wisconsin's best musicians for the past 35 years, so if you love soulful harmonica and a bluesy beat, or event if you're just curious about blues music, the Danny Miller Band is a great place to start!
Chill on the Hill happens every Tuesday night this summer at the Humboldt Park bandshell. Music begins at 6:30pm and the Milwaukee County Parks concessions truck will be on hand to sell brats and cold Miller Chill. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair or just spread out on the grass and enjoy the blues this week!
You may have heard Danny Miller before in bands like Rocket 88, Plumb Loco or Cahoots; over the years, Miller's played with the likes of John Eske, Mike Lawler and Rev. Dippermouth to name a few. The Danny Miller Band cites Delbert McClinton, Louis Jourdan and Paul Butterfield among its many influences.
Chill on the Hill has lots of great acts yet to come; check back here for further information. Here's how the rest of the season is shaping up:
